Rising temperatures fuel fresh fever outbreak in Ernakulam

Health officials in Ernakulam have warned of a renewed outbreak of fever cases as temperatures continue to climb across the district. The district is currently recording the highest number of influenza cases in Kerala, while dengue and leptospirosis cases remain active.
Authorities have urged residents to take preventive measures including maintaining hygiene, using mosquito repellents, and seeking medical attention if symptoms develop. The spike comes as seasonal weather patterns create conditions favourable for disease transmission.
