Russell set for back-of-grid penalty in Singapore race

George Russell is likely to receive a back-of-grid penalty for the upcoming Singapore Grand Prix following a power unit failure at the Malaysian Grand Prix last weekend. Russell retired from the Bahrain Grand Prix in Malaysia while running in third place, just five laps before the finish.
The power unit issue forced the Mercedes driver to withdraw from the race, and the damage appears severe enough to warrant a grid penalty under Formula 1 regulations when he competes in Singapore.
