Russian Pistol Coach Yury Lisichko: The Man Behind India's Shooters' Perfect Grip

Russian pistol coach Yury Lisichko arrived in India in 2009 for a one-year assignment with the Indian Army. His Greater Noida workshop has since become a crucial resource for shooters perfecting their craft.

Listchko studies each shooter's hand anatomy and customizes pistol grips by modifying wood pieces iteratively until the grip and shooter achieve optimal alignment. Top Indian shooters including Anish Bhanwala, Manu Bhaker, Jitu Rai and Sarabjot Singh have all worked with him to fine-tune their equipment.
