SAI designs container homes to prepare athletes for Asian Games

The Sports Authority of India (SAI) has designed shipping-container accommodation prototypes at its centres in Patiala and Bengaluru. The unconventional housing is intended to help Asian Games-bound athletes acclimatise to the unique living conditions they will face at the upcoming Games.

The container homes serve as a familiarisation tool, allowing athletes to adapt to the architectural setup and logistics they will encounter during the international competition. SAI's initiative reflects efforts to ensure Indian competitors are fully prepared for all aspects of their Games experience.
