Sambhal violence accused gets bail from HC, then arrested under NSA by UP govt

A High Court granted bail to Afroz, an accused in the Sambhal violence case, after observing that the FIR did not name him as a participant. However, shortly after his release, the Uttar Pradesh government detained him under the National Security Act (NSA).
The District Magistrate's NSA detention order described Afroz as "guilty of a heinous crime," contradicting the HC's finding that the original FIR had not implicated him. The move raised questions about the consistency of charges against the accused across different legal proceedings.
