Sanchita Ugale's Grandfather Breaks Silence on Actress's Death, Says 'Completely Beyond Our Understanding'

Television actress Sanchita Ugale, 22, died by suicide at her home in Nalasopara, Palghar district, Maharashtra on June 14. She was found alone around 7 pm. Following her death, her grandfather Gopinath spoke to media, expressing deep grief and confusion about her decision.

Her grandfather praised Sanchita for building a successful television career through her own hard work and determination without industry backing. He stated, "It is very painful. Why she did this, only God knows what was going on in her mind. It is completely beyond our understanding."

He further said the family remained unaware of any mental struggle or disputes in her life, noting she had achieved success across her taluka and throughout Ahmednagar district. Her death has sparked calls for mental health awareness in the entertainment industry.
