Seven major stocks hit 52-week lows as Sensex declines
The Sensex declined 49 points to close at 72,480 on Wednesday as several prominent BSE 100 stocks touched fresh 52-week lows. The stocks that hit the milestone include PB Fintech, Hindustan Unilever, Britannia Industries, Tata Consumer Products, Godrej Consumer Products, Bharat Electronics and Indian Oil.
The decline reflects broader market weakness affecting major index constituents across sectors including fast-moving consumer goods, fintech, defence and energy.
