Every disagreement need not begin as litigation, says Sitharaman

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has called on businesses to resolve disagreements with government and regulators through constructive engagement rather than immediately turning to litigation.

Addressing the National Management Convention of the All India Management Association (AIMA), Sitharaman emphasised the importance of dialogue between the business community and regulatory authorities. She stressed that not every disagreement needs to escalate into a legal dispute.

Her remarks underscore the government's push for collaborative problem-solving between industry and the state.
