Sonu Sood on 26 years of Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations in Mumbai

Pan-India actor Sonu Sood has been celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi in Mumbai for the past 26 years. In an exclusive interview, he recalled his first celebration when he arrived in the city, buying a small idol from Andheri station and later exchanging it for a bigger one after his wife Sonali's suggestion. He spent the entire night decorating the idol with thermocols and chart papers.

Sood emphasized that visiting pandals across Mumbai has been a cherished practice, appreciating the enthusiasm and hard work of organisers each year. He noted that Ganesh Chaturthi holds special significance as a festival that brings families together, allowing people to set aside their busy schedules and spend quality time with loved ones through prayer and shared meals.
