Suhasini Mulay on marrying at 60: 'You are as old as you feel in your mind'

National Award-winning actress Suhasini Mulay, known for films including Lagaan and Dil Chahta Hai, married at the age of 60. The veteran performer believes that age is determined by one's mindset rather than years.

Reflecting on her decision, Mulay shared that she considered the worst possible outcome before proceeding. She reasoned that if the marriage did not work, divorce remained an option. Her mother had once told her she had left her life's reins long ago, a comment Mulay recalls with humour.

On motherhood, Mulay explained she chose not to have children as she was unwilling to shift focus from her career. She noted that while there is nothing wrong with prioritizing children, it was not her choice.
