Telangana bans artificial, non-dairy paneer for one year

Telangana has imposed a one-year ban on artificial and non-dairy paneer across the state. The order, which took effect from September 10, prohibits the sale or marketing of synthetic or plant-based fat imitation products under the name of dairy paneer.

The ban covers the entire state and applies to all variants of artificial paneer sold under dairy names. The move aims to regulate the market for paneer and protect consumers from synthetic substitutes.
