Telangana CEO orders crackdown on Form 7 misuse to prevent voter deletion

Telangana's Chief Electoral Officer has issued directions to tackle the misuse of Form 7, the official form used for deletion of voter names from electoral rolls. The move aims to prevent eligible voters from being wrongfully removed from the voting register.
Form 7 is a standard electoral document submitted when voters request deletion from voter rolls, typically due to relocation or other reasons. The CEO's order seeks to ensure that the form is used only for legitimate purposes and that safeguards are in place to protect eligible citizens' voting rights.
