Telangana declares September 25 public holiday for Ganesh immersion in twin cities

The Telangana Government has declared September 25, 2026 (Friday) as a public holiday across Hyderabad, Secunderabad, Ranga Reddy, and Medchal-Malkajgiri districts for the Ganesh idol immersion procession.

The announcement was made on Wednesday to facilitate smooth conduct of the religious event and related festivities in the twin cities region.
