Telangana Labour Dept summons Uber, Ola, Rapido over airport cab fares

The Telangana Labour Department has called Uber, Ola, Rapido and GMR Airports Limited for discussions over a row involving cab fares at Hyderabad airport.

The Joint Commissioner of Labour wrote to the ride-hailing platforms, directing them to implement fares as prescribed in government orders for prepaid cabs at the airport. The move follows complaints from transport unions regarding fare compliance.

The department is seeking to resolve the dispute through dialogue between the companies and authorities regarding airport cab operations and pricing regulations.
