New political outfit leads Hyderabad protest over SIR voter deletions
Telangana People's Front, a newly formed political pressure group, led a demonstration against the Chief Electoral Officer in Hyderabad on Saturday over voter deletions during the Special Inclusive Registration (SIR) process.
Over 300 people participated in the dharna, including voters who were removed from electoral rolls. The group comprises members with backgrounds in civil service and information technology.
The protesters voiced concerns about the SIR process and demanded accountability from electoral authorities.
