Telangana power company provides free electricity to over 51,000 Ganesh pandals

The Telangana Generation and Distribution Company Limited (TGSPDCL) provided free electricity worth ₹17.8 crore to over 51,200 Ganesh pandals, according to CMD Jitesh V. Patil. The supply was arranged to support the temporary structures and pandals set up during the Ganesh Chaturthi festival celebrations across the state.

This initiative reflects the state utility's commitment to facilitating public religious and cultural gatherings without imposing financial burden on community organisers.
