Telangana's peak power demand crosses 19,500 MW mark

Telangana's peak electricity demand has crossed the 19,500 MW barrier for the first time. The state recorded a peak load of 19,543 MW on September 9, marking a significant milestone in power consumption.

The demand remained above the 19,000 MW mark on September 10 as well, indicating sustained high consumption levels. The growth in peak power load reflects increasing industrial activity and rising domestic consumption across the state.
