Telugu Cinema Delays Big-Budget Releases

Several high-profile Telugu film productions are facing release delays as studios opt to focus on content quality rather than fixed timelines.

Allu Arjun's much-anticipated project Raaka has been postponed to 2028, while actor Prabhas' film Fauji has also encountered scheduling changes. Industry insiders attribute the moves to big-budget filmmakers taking additional time for post-production and refinement.

The shift reflects a broader trend among major Telugu production houses to prioritise delivering polished content over meeting predetermined release dates.
