Thane Police Arrest Two Men in Kasarvadavali Woman Murder Within 24 Hours
The Thane City Police Crime Branch has arrested two men within 24 hours of a woman's murder in Kasarvadavali. The Kasarvadavali Police registered a case on September 23, 2026, under Section 103(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.
Primary suspect Amol Dilip Waghmare, 45, an auto-rickshaw driver from Nagpur, and his accomplice Krupal Kishor Bhaisare, 31, were traced to Pachpaavali in Nagpur and arrested. During interrogation, Waghmare confessed to the murder, admitting he and Bhaisare slit the victim's throat with a knife.
Police are seeking custody remand for further interrogation and weapon recovery. The operation was supervised by Additional Commissioner of Police Dr. Punjabrao Ugale and led by Senior Police Inspector Gorakhnath Gharge.
