Masked Thief Steals 5 kg Silver From Jewellery Shop While Owner Sleeps in Guna
A masked thief allegedly stole a bag containing approximately 5 kg of silver from a jewellery shop in Guna, Madhya Pradesh. The theft occurred at a shop in Chhota Sarafa Market near Koteshwar Gali under the Kotwali police station area, when the shop owner's elderly father, Sumerchand Jain, fell asleep while watching television near the counter on Saturday afternoon.
The accused entered the shop, slid open the glass counter, and removed the silver-filled bag. The theft went unnoticed until the shop owner, Manoj Kumar Jain, prepared to close the store in the evening. Upon discovering the theft, the family reviewed CCTV footage and found evidence of the incident.
Police have registered a case and launched an investigation. Authorities are reviewing CCTV footage from nearby areas to identify and trace the accused.
