Tu Hai Meri Kiran Trailer Gets Mixed Response; Netizens Draw Darr Remake Comparisons

The trailer for Tu Hai Meri Kiran, starring real-life couple Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal, was released on Tuesday to mixed reactions from netizens. The film revolves around obsessive love and unrequited romance—a storyline audiences have seen before.

Zaheer draws praise for his anti-hero performance. However, social media users compared the film to the 1993 thriller Darr, with some calling it a modern remake. Several viewers felt the leads looked more like a mature couple than a romantic pair, though others found the suspense angle intriguing.

The film is scheduled for release on October 23, 2026, alongside Ayushmann Khurrana's Udta Teer and Gurmeet Choudhary's Tum Mere Ho.
