Kerala UDF MPs demand BJP clarification on Palakkad railway division bifurcation

United Democratic Front MPs from Kerala have demanded a response from Union Minister Suresh Gopi regarding the bifurcation of the Palakkad railway division. The Kozhikode MP has been asked to comment on the proposed division.

UDF MPs plan to stage a fast outside the Divisional Railway Manager's office in Palakkad on August 26 in protest against the move. The opposition coalition views the bifurcation as a matter requiring urgent clarification from the central government.
