The Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) has intensified its search for two suspected youths linked to Al-Qaeda in the Indian Subcontinent (AQIS). Based on interrogations of terror suspects Mohammad Nabeel and Maqsood Ali, arrested from Azamgarh and Tamil Nadu, the ATS has received important information.

Over the past six months, the ATS has arrested 52 suspects from the sleeper cell network of Pakistani gangster Shahzad Bhatti. Investigations into Pakistani numbers and chats found on the mobile phones of the arrested terrorists are ongoing, and there is a possibility that a major terror network in the state will be exposed.
