Uttar Pradesh cabinet approves renaming of Jewar airport as Narendra Modi International Airport

The Uttar Pradesh cabinet on Friday approved a resolution to rename the Noida International Airport in Jewar as Narendra Modi International Airport, Noida-Jewar. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced the decision following the cabinet meeting.

The airport, located in Jewar in Gautam Buddh Nagar district, is one of the major infrastructure projects in the state. The renaming reflects the state government's recognition of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's role in advancing the project.
