UP dairy conclave transfers DBT to 1,200 beneficiaries, registers 22 milk cooperatives

A dairy conclave covering three divisions was held in Jhansi on September 11, centred on women's participation and entrepreneurship in dairy development. The event facilitated Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) payments to 1,200 beneficiaries and issued registration certificates to 22 milk cooperatives.

The initiative aims to strengthen dairy farming practices and support cooperative structures across the region. The focus on women entrepreneurs reflects efforts to expand their role in the dairy sector.
