UP Judge Claims 100 Cases Withdrawn to Benefit Mafias

Additional District and Sessions Judge Ravi Kumar Diwakar has alleged that approximately 100 cases have been withdrawn from his court in what he claims is a deliberate effort to benefit mafias and organised crime groups.
The judge stated he would not perform his judicial duties under pressure from criminal elements. Diwakar's remarks signal concerns about potential interference in the judicial process and suggest systemic issues in case management within the district court system.
The allegations point to broader questions about judicial independence and the protection of the criminal justice system from external influence in Uttar Pradesh.
