UP Police to Get Lightweight Synthetic Shoes, Replacing Heavy Leather Boots

Plans are being made to provide Uttar Pradesh Police personnel with lightweight synthetic shoes. Policemen face discomfort from traditional heavy leather shoes during long foot patrols, traffic duty, and deployment in crowded places.

This step is being taken with the aim of improving the physical comfort of the personnel. Modern synthetic shoes are lighter and more comfortable, which will reduce fatigue during duty.
