UP RISE startup event in Jhansi sees 12 teams pitch ideas; On Mint wins top honour

UP RISE, a startup pitching event, was held at Gandhi Auditorium of Bundelkhand University in Jhansi on Monday. Inaugurated by Vice-Chancellor Professor Mukesh Pandey, the event brought together innovative youth from Bundelkhand University and neighbouring districts to present business ideas.

Twelve startup teams pitched their concepts at the venue. On Mint, founded by Abhishek and Nishant, was declared the winner, while Ikshu, by Junaid Rizwan and Sagar, received the runner-up award. Information desks about Yogi Government startup schemes and financial assistance were set up on-site.

Mentors, experts, university officials and startup founders attended. Vice-Chancellor Pandey said such initiatives align with the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047 and inspire innovation and self-reliance among youth.
