102 Uttar Pradesh Sugar Mills Complete 100% Payment to Farmers in 2025-26 Season

Lucknow: During the 2025-26 crushing season, 102 sugar mills in Uttar Pradesh completed 100 percent payment to sugarcane farmers under the monitoring of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The state's 23 cooperative sugar mills paid ₹2,820 crore, while three State Sugar Corporation mills disbursed ₹543.51 crore. Private mills also made full payments to farmers.

Over 94.86 percent of sugarcane dues have been cleared during the current season. The Yogi Government has transferred a total of ₹3.25 lakh crore in sugarcane price payments to farmer accounts. The state continues to lead the nation in sugarcane, molasses and ethanol production, with farmers seeing a significant income rise of ₹40,720 per hectare.
