Vedika Pinto on Finding Her Voice Through Auditions and Diverse Roles
Actor Vedika Pinto has established herself through roles in Netflix's Musafir Café, where she plays Sudha Tripathi, along with appearances in films including Operation Romeo, Gumraah, and the Nishaanchi franchise. A University of London graduate, Pinto reflects on her unconventional path to acting.
Pinto revealed she auditioned extensively from 2017 to 2020 before landing significant roles. She credits patience and persistence to her eventual breakthrough, suggesting she needed time to find her place in the industry. Despite childhood aspirations to act, Pinto described herself as initially lacking confidence, contrasting her personality with more outgoing peers.
On her approach to work, Pinto expressed enthusiasm for the audition process itself, viewing it as a favourite activity rather than merely a stepping stone.
