Vikrant Massey to Open 'Musafir Cafes' in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand

Actor Vikrant Massey is developing two physical cafés inspired by the fictional Musafir Cafe from the Netflix series in which he starred. One café will be located in Himachal Pradesh and another in Uttarakhand, both designed as replicas of the café seen in the show while adapted to their respective mountain settings.

The projects are in early construction stages featuring stone and wooden structures. Each venue is expected to include around 20 rooms dedicated to artist residencies, positioning them as cultural spaces beyond typical café destinations. The venture is being developed in collaboration with Homemade Stories, the production company behind the Netflix series.

Massey had previously discussed plans to open a café in Himachal Pradesh, where his wife has roots. He had considered multiple locations including Dharamkot, Dharamshala, Chamba and Kufri before finalizing the current plans.
