Man in Viral Crying Video Clarifies He Wasn't Hired by Vedang Raina's PR Team

A video of a man crying after meeting filmmaker Imtiaz Ali and actor Vedang Raina at a screening of Main Vaapas Aaunga went viral on social media. Netizens alleged that Vedang's PR team had hired him for the emotional display. However, the man in the video, identified as Dushyant Arora, a lawyer and columnist, took to X to deny the claims, stating he was not hired.

Arora revealed that his emotional reaction was genuine. His grandmother had Alzheimer's disease, similar to the condition depicted in the film, and she had recently passed away just a month before the screening. He noted that Vedang Raina was also moved to tears during their interaction.
