Wayanad landslide survivors' housing to be ready by October 31: Minister

Minister T Siddique announced that housing units for survivors of the 2024 Wayanad landslide will be completed by October 31. The survivors, currently residing in rented accommodation, have raised concerns about the adequacy of government financial assistance to cover their living expenses.

The state government had initiated the construction of a township to rehabilitate those displaced by the devastating landslide. The project aims to provide permanent housing solutions for the affected families within the announced timeline.
