Wayanad township housing construction to be finished by October 31

Kerala Agriculture Minister T. Siddique announced that the second phase of house construction in the Wayanad township will be completed by October 31. The draw of lots for allotting the houses to beneficiaries is scheduled to be held by November 1, 2026.

The township project aims to provide housing to residents affected by the devastating landslides in Wayanad district.
