Welspun Enterprises Wins ₹66 Crore NDMC Sewer Project in New Delhi

Welspun Enterprises Limited's material subsidiary, Welspun Michigan Engineers Limited (WMEL), has secured a ₹66 crore contract from the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) for rehabilitating an old sewer line in New Delhi. The project involves rehabilitation of a twin-barrel sewer with 2100 mm diameter pipes running from C-Hexagon to Lodhi Road through Zakir Hussain Marg, Golf Course and Subramanium Bharti Marg. The work must be completed within 18 months from commencement.

Following this contract win, WMEL's order book has increased to approximately ₹2,356.66 crore. The company has added projects worth around ₹366.66 crore since June 2026. The contract does not involve any related-party transactions, with the company clarifying that its promoters and group companies have no interest in NDMC.
