'Why Are You Supporting Donation Thieves?' Kejriwal's Explosive Reply to Yogi Adityanath Goes Viral

A fresh political confrontation erupted on Friday after Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath criticised Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor Arvind Kejriwal, accusing his party of damaging Delhi through corruption during its years in power.
Addressing a public gathering in Deoria, Yogi Adityanath questioned the AAP government's performance and later shared a clip of his speech on X. In the post, he wrote, "A gentleman from Delhi has come here. He has given nothing but ruin and corruption to Delhi."
The remarks quickly drew a sharp response from Kejriwal, who was visiting the Shri Ram Mandir in Ayodhya earlier in the day.
Instead of responding directly to the allegations over Delhi's governance, the AAP chief turned the spotlight on the ongoing controversy surrounding the alleged Ram Temple donation theft case. In a strongly-worded post, Kejriwal appealed to the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister to support action against those accused in the matter.
"Maharaj ji. Why are you siding with the donation thieves? These donation thieves are plotting to remove you as well. They won't even let you keep your chair. In my struggle to get the demons of the great robbery at Lord Ram's home hanged publicly, please stand with me. Do not become a partner in this great sin," Kejriwal wrote.
The exchange comes amid heightened political attention on the alleged donation theft linked to the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Trust.
Adding to the developments, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Trust General Secretary Champat Rai and trustee Anil Mishra resigned on Friday, reportedly taking moral responsibility following the controversy.
The resignations came a day after police registered a case under multiple provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) against several individuals, including Anukalp Mishra, Lavkush Mishra, Avinash Shukla, Tinnu Yadav and Manish Yadav, in connection with the alleged theft of temple donations.
