National Film Award Win Brings Greater Sense of Responsibility: Yami Gautam

Actress Yami Gautam, who won the National Film Award for Best Actress for her role in Article 370, said the recognition has brought with it a greater sense of responsibility. Speaking at the trailer launch of her film Nayi Naveli, Gautam described the National Award as a "really, really big honour" and acknowledged that receiving it has changed things for her as an artist.
Gautam emphasised that the award has made her more conscious of the responsibility she carries as an actor. She stated she will continue to seek roles that excite her while connecting with audiences, and remains focused on learning and growing as an artist despite the recognition. When asked about pursuing an Oscar, she chose not to disclose her ambitions, saying good work speaks for itself.
