Zerodha founders acquire 6.72% stake in Viceroy Hotels

Zerodha founders Nithin and Nikhil Kamath have acquired a 6.72% stake in Viceroy Hotels through investment vehicles Kamath Associates and Nksquared. The move comes as the hotel company recovers following insolvency resolution and pursues expansion of its portfolio.

Viceroy Hotels is raising capital through a Rs 105-crore rights issue to fund growth initiatives. The investment signals confidence in the hospitality company's turnaround strategy and future prospects.
