ZPM's K Laltluangkima elected to Rajya Sabha from Mizoram

K. Laltluangkima, spokesperson of the Zoram Mizo Party (ZPM), has been elected to the Rajya Sabha from Mizoram. He secured 26 of the 36 votes cast in the election.

Laltluangkima will succeed K. Vanlalvena, the outgoing Member of Parliament from the Mizo National Front (MNF), in the Upper House of Parliament.
