Jairam Ramesh Attacks CEC and PM Again Over SIR, Says "Illegal... in Form 6"

Congress General Secretary and Rajya Sabha MP Jairam Ramesh has once again targeted the BJP and PM Modi over the SIR and Chief Election Commissioner issue. Posting on the social media platform 'X', he wrote that "vote theft is now an established truth. According to the ECI's own figures, the constitutional right to vote of more than 10 crore Indians is under threat."

Jairam said that "the ECI made illegal changes to Form 6 with the aim of creating obstacles for new voters. Along with this, it has also encouraged the large-scale misuse of Form 7 to selectively remove voters' names."

Central Control Over Voter List

The Congress MP said that "the CEC has centralised control over the voter list by using ECINet and, in the process, has bypassed all legal safeguards. The entire country is outraged. There is immense anger among the public. Despite repression, protests continue."

Diverting Attention from Real Issues

Jairam Ramesh said that "the entire machinery of the Prime Minister, in desperation and panic, is now trying to divert people's attention and shift focus from real issues. For this, it is doing what is in its DNA: spreading lies. But it will not succeed. The PM-HM duo has been completely exposed, and the people of the country will hold them accountable."

Bhatia Attacks Congress

वोट चोरी अब एक साबित हो चुकी सच्चाई है। ECI के अपने आंकड़ों के मुताबिक, 10 करोड़ से अधिक भारतीयों के वोट देने के संवैधानिक अधिकार पर खतरा मंडरा रहा है। ECI ने नए मतदाताओं के लिए बाधाएं खड़ी करने के उद्देश्य से Form 6 में गैरकानूनी बदलाव किए। साथ ही, मतदाताओं के नाम चुन-चुनकर हटाने के लिए Form 7 के बड़े पैमाने पर दुरुपयोग को भी बढ़ावा दिया है। CEC ने ECINet का इस्तेमाल करके मतदाता सूची पर नियंत्रण को केंद्रीकृत कर दिया है और इस दौरान सभी कानूनी सुरक्षा प्रावधानों को दरकिनार किया है। पूरा देश आक्रोशित है। जनता में भारी गुस्सा है। दमन के बावजूद विरोध प्रदर्शन जारी हैं। प्रधानमंत्री का पूरा तंत्र अब हताशा और घबराहट में लोगों का ध्यान भटकाने और असल मुद्दों से ध्यान हटाने की कोशिश कर रहा है। इसके लिए वह वही कर रहा है जो उसके DNA में है-झूठ फैलाना। लेकिन वह इसमें सफल नहीं होगा। PM-HM की जोड़ी पूरी तरह एक्सपोज हो चुकी है और देश की जनता उन्हें जवाबदेह ठहराएगी।
