DMK regime ran 27% commission system on tenders, alleges Tamil Nadu minister

Tamil Nadu Public Works and Sports Development Minister Aadhav Arjuna has accused the previous DMK regime of operating an "institutionalized corruption" system across government departments. He alleged that a 27% fixed commission structure was in place under the earlier government, with funds split between family members, ministers, and officials on public tenders.
Arjuna stated that the current government has reduced contract estimates by 27% to eliminate these illegal cutbacks. The minister's remarks represent a direct attack on the DMK administration's financial practices in public procurement.
