AAP launches nationwide campaign against E20 fuel policy, announces August 1 townhall

The Aam Aadmi Party has announced a fresh public campaign against the Centre's E20 fuel policy following Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan's recent resignation. AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal announced a 'National Townhall Against E20' scheduled for August 1 at Delhi's Constitution Club, inviting citizens from across the country to participate both in-person and online.
Kejriwal drew a parallel between the student protests that led to Pradhan's ouster over the NEET paper leak issue and the need for unified public action against E20. He stated that the townhall would provide a platform for citizens to share suggestions and concerns about the fuel policy. The event will begin at 11:30 am, with online participation available for those unable to attend in person.
Pradhan resigned as Education Minister on July 26 following sustained nationwide protests over the alleged NEET examination paper leak and demands for reform. Prahlad Joshi subsequently took over the Education Ministry portfolio.
