Abhijeet Dipke Attacked, Slapped Repeatedly At Protest In Jaipur

A protest gathering led by Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke descended into chaos on Monday after he was allegedly assaulted by unidentified individuals moments before addressing supporters in Rajasthan’s capital.
The demonstration, organised at Shaheed Smarak, was part of an ongoing nationwide campaign led by the satirical political outfit on issues affecting students and young job seekers. However, the event took a dramatic turn when Dipke was reportedly targeted while making his way through the crowd.
According to videos circulating online, Dipke was being carried on the shoulders of supporters when a group of men allegedly approached him, pulled at his scarf and struck him multiple times. The incident triggered confusion at the venue, with supporters rushing to shield him as tensions escalated.
Eyewitnesses said the gathering briefly descended into disorder as angry supporters confronted those believed to be involved in the assault. Security personnel and police present at the site intervened to prevent the situation from worsening.
Despite the disruption, the incident quickly drew attention on social media, where videos of the confrontation spread widely and sparked debate over security arrangements at public protests.
The Jaipur event was part of a larger movement launched by the CJP across several cities, including Delhi, Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Lucknow and Amritsar. The campaign has focused on concerns related to examination controversies, youth unemployment and demands for greater accountability in the education sector.
Dipke has repeatedly stated that the movement aims to amplify the voices of students and young people across the country. The organisation has gained visibility in recent months through a strong online presence and public demonstrations that have attracted participation from activists, students and public figures.
Authorities have not yet officially identified the individuals involved in the incident, and further details regarding the assault are awaited. Meanwhile, supporters of the CJP have condemned the attack and demanded action against those responsible.
