ABVP Sweeps DUSU Elections as Opposition Youth Campaigns Falter

The ABVP has secured victory in the Delhi University Students' Union (DUSU) elections, extending its dominance in campus politics. The win marks another setback for opposition youth mobilisation efforts, including initiatives like the Congress-backed 'Chhatron Ki Goonj' and other youth campaigns.

The trend reflects a broader pattern observed across state and central universities in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan, where similar electoral outcomes have been recorded in recent cycles. Opposition groups have struggled to gain traction in student union contests despite sustained organisational efforts.
