ABVP wins three of four DUSU posts; NSUI loses representation

The ABVP swept the Delhi University Students' Union (DUSU) elections, winning three of four major posts in a result that defied broader Gen Z protest trends. The student wing of the RSS-affiliated BJP dominated the contest across multiple constituencies.
The sole exception came in the Vice-President's race, where Independent candidate Deepanshu Shokeen, a former NSUI member, defeated both ABVP and NSUI contenders. The NSUI's loss marks a significant setback, leaving the Congress-affiliated organisation without representation in the four main DUSU positions.
