ACB uncovers ₹1.18 crore loss to Guntur civic body over tender irregularities

The Anti-Corruption Bureau has detected a loss of ₹1.18 crore to the Guntur Municipal Corporation due to tender irregularities. According to an ACB Deputy Superintendent of Police, preliminary scrutiny of 152 works executed by the civic body has revealed the irregularities. Further verification of records is currently underway to establish the full extent of the discrepancies and determine accountability.
