ACP Vivek Bhagat Files Complaint Against Woman Journalist Over Casteist Remarks at Jantar Mantar

Assistant Commissioner of Police Vivek Bhagat has filed a police complaint against a woman journalist and others after being accused of misconduct and sexual harassment during protests at Jantar Mantar against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.

Bhagat has alleged that the journalist, along with Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) leaders Abhijeet Dipke, Saurav Das, and Ashutosh Ranka, made casteist remarks against him. He claims that allegations portraying him as a sexual predator, circulated by the journalist and the CJP members, have damaged his reputation.

The First Information Report (FIR) names the CJP founder and spokespersons as accused parties alongside the journalist. The complaint highlights the escalation of the dispute from the protest venue to legal action, with both sides making serious allegations against each other.
