Agriculture Infrastructure Fund loans exceed ₹1 trillion milestone

The Agriculture Infrastructure Fund has surpassed ₹1 trillion in loan disbursements, marking significant progress in the government's push to improve post-harvest infrastructure across the country.

Government data reveals that Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, and Gujarat are the leading beneficiary states under the scheme. Individual farmers account for the bulk of approved projects, representing nearly 59% of all ventures funded through the initiative.

The milestone underscores the Centre's focus on strengthening agricultural infrastructure and reducing post-harvest losses through improved storage and processing facilities.
