Two Ex-Ministers to Join Vijay's TVK, Weakening AIADMK

Two former AIADMK ministers, MR Vijayabaskar and C Vijaybhaskar, are set to join Chief Minister Vijay's TVK party. Their departure will increase the number of former AIADMK MLAs who have switched to TVK to six, further eroding the opposition party's presence in the Tamil Nadu Assembly.

The defections continue a trend of AIADMK leaders gravitating towards the newly-formed TVK, which won the state elections earlier this year under Vijay's leadership.
