AIADMK leader C. Vijayabaskar resigns as MLA

AIADMK leader C. Vijayabaskar has resigned from his position as Member of Legislative Assembly. His resignation comes weeks after the 2026 Assembly elections.

Vijayabaskar is the fifth AIADMK legislator to step down from the Assembly following the recent electoral contest. The series of resignations raises questions about internal party dynamics and member satisfaction within the AIADMK.
